FAQ Schema Generator

Turn real customer questions into valid FAQ markup that matches what is actually written on the page.

  • ✓ Valid output
  • ✓ Matches visible content
  • ✓ Any page
  • ✓ Free, no account

FAQ markup describes questions and answers that appear on the page. That last part is the rule people break. Marking up questions that are not on the page is exactly what this is not for, and it costs eligibility rather than earning it.

How It Works

1

Collect real questions

From calls, emails and reviews.

2

Answer them on the page

Plainly, and in full.

3

Generate and validate

Then check the two still agree.

Where the questions come from

What people ring to ask. Do you park anywhere, are you open Sunday, do you charge for a quote. Invented questions produce markup that is technically valid and completely useless, because nobody was ever wondering about them.

The rule that gets broken

Every question in the markup must be visible on the page. Marking up content that is not there is a mismatch, and mismatches cost eligibility rather than gaining it. The markup describes the page; it does not add to it.

The part worth more than the markup

Writing the answers. Most local sites leave obvious questions unanswered and then take calls asking them. Answering properly saves the call and helps the person who would not have rung at all.

Frequently Asked Questions

Will this get me rich results?

Sometimes. Eligibility changes and is never guaranteed. The answers help readers either way.

Can I mark up questions not on the page?

No. The markup must match visible content, and mismatches can cost eligibility.

How many questions should I include?

As many as you genuinely get asked. Padding with invented ones helps nothing.

Does it work on any page?

On pages that genuinely have questions and answers on them. Not as a decoration for pages that do not.

The answers matter more than the code

The markup is a formality. Writing plain answers to the questions people actually ring about is the part that changes anything.
